Is it a numerically challenged trillium?
This is a plant that just appeared in my garden. The plant was a normal plant the year before. The year after these pictures were taken the plant reverted back to a normal trillium form.
All it wants is for you to leaf it alone.
The name Dillium came from fellow trillium enthusiast and author, Don Jacobs. Di being Latin for 2. |

This is a T. underwoodii f. dillium. It was found in Alabama growing among several hundred other T. underwoodii in a powerline right-away. All flower parts are in multiples of 2. |
